Our Story
Hello there. We are Peter & Amber, proud parents to our lovely twin girls Leia & Lauren.
Our story began in 2015, when we discovered that Amber was pregnant with MOMO (Monoamniotic-Monochorionic) twins, which meant that they were identical twins sharing an amniotic sac with separate umbilical cords. It was a difficult and challenging pregnancy. But by the grace of god, our girls were born safely at 32 weeks as preemies, weighing in at 1.5kg and 1.6kg respectively. Tiny and fragile, Leia & Lauren were in the hospital for over a month, but officially came home on Amber’s birthday! It was her best birthday present ever.
We wanted to celebrate their journey of growth, and started documenting some of their little moments and big adventures on Instagram. Slowly but surely, our tiny babies began to grow, in both size and following. As people grew to love their quirky style and expressions, the account amassed more than 260,000 followers in ten months. We feel incredibly blessed to have received so much love from so many.
We have always felt compelled to create clothing that reflects the personalities and characters of Leia & Lauren. And in January 2016, we sat down and drew up the ideas and inspirations for our very first collection in Singapore. Inspired by our girls and our travels around the world came a carefully curated assemblage with no compromise on quality and versatility. Our collection echoes Leia & Lauren’s childlike innocence with a dash of quirky, adventure, and lightheartedness all on the side. Like our babies, every design that you see is a limited edition and a labour of our passion and our love. We hope you like them as much as we do!
This website is dedicated to our precious princesses Leia and Lauren. In years to come they shall look through this collective journal of their life, where each and every milestone is captured, celebrated and proudly etched within these pages, and in our memories.
